PostSubject: How to change image size in posts   Sat Apr 08, 2017 1:13 pm

I have found myself wanting to change image sizes without having to photoshop or resize them myself and upload into an image hosting account. I have also been asked if this can be done because I request images over 750p in width be put in spoiler buttons or resized so pages do not stretch and it makes peoples viewing experience easier.

The answer is, yes this can be done easily with or without BBC. Don't worry, your image can still be viewed at full size by clicking on it.

If you do not want to bother with BBC, the much easier method is when you choose "Insert Image" as your making your post, just insert the Width and Height you want the image to be.

If you have already inserted the image or wish to use BBC, here is the proper code usage if you do not know how to use it.

[img(Widthpx,Heightpx)]Image URL Here[/img]

(Example usage)

This is easy to use and easy to calculate what to resize it to. You can either resize it in an image editor to upload, or to get your resolution to use in the code above, you can use this calculator to tell you what to resize it to. Just put in your image resolution on the left and on the right side put in a width of 750 or less to get your resize number that's used in the code above.
